Gold Smugglers Arrested


Even though the customs officials are vigilant,gold smugglers continue with their job.This time the accused made shocking revelations. City based smuggler Syed Sajid revealed that he used Airport Passenger Support Services Employees to smuggle gold. When gold successfully reaches the airport the smugglers would hand it over to Support Services Employees who in turn would stuff them in wheel chairs used for handicapped passengers.Then he would collect the gold back at car parking. Since gold is cheaper in Gulf countries, they smuggle it from there and sell in the local market in India.
Bachpan teacher beat up kid
Teachers and punishment are like hand in glove. In a recent incident a two-and-a-half-year-old boy was beaten by his teacher. According to reports the boy, a student of Bachpan play school in Dilsukhnagar, was afraid to go to school for the past one week and was also unwell. When parents enquired he said that his teacher Sushmitha is beating him up. However,when his father reached the school, the boy was sitting on the floor weeping.The child’s parents immediately filed an FIR against the teacher.The teacher is absconding.
OU boils again
Osmania University students are on a protest yet again.This time they are protesting over Telangana government’s decision to regularise contract employees.Thousands of students have been preparing for government exams hoping to land a government job. But since last year no major recruitment exams were conducted. And TRS government’s decision on July 16 to regularise contact employees only added fuel to the fire, as a result hundreds of students are protesting against Telangana CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao. Students allege that these contract employees were appointed on recommendations of political leaders and that no norms were followed. Students fear that they will not get jobs as vacancies will be occupied by the contract staff.
Vaccination of Haj pilgrims after eid
Special officer for Haj Committee, Prof. S. A Shukoor said that vaccination programme for selected Haj pilgrims will take place after eid-ul-fitr at Haj house and Asra Hospital respectively.He further said that Haj committee will organise vaccination camps in districts as well. He was addressing a Haj training camp for pilgrims on Sunday.

In a move to ensure safety of employees GHMC is all set to install web enabled cameras in public offices.This is not all they will have GPS system to all vehicles in addition to lunch rooms, change rooms for drivers, staff and women employee.They are also introducing employee grievance day from 1 p.m. to 1.30 p.m. every Monday in all circle offices. Plans are on to issue health cards to all employees to ensure cashless and hassle free treatment in selected and authorised hospitals.
Beware Criminals
From now on all the details of burglars,chain snatchers and those who commit serious crimes will be stored in Central Criminal Data Collection Centre opened by the Cyberabad police commissioner.The centre will store Fingerprints, DNA, Aadhar details, permanent address, and details of family members.The centre will operate from commissioner’s office.“From now on the details of every criminal will be shared with their counter parts in Hyderabad”, said Cyberabad police officials.
